There have now been 36,984 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Westchester residents out of 530,614 - representing more than half of the county’s population - who have been tested for the virus.
The infection rate in Westchester residents has now dropped to 7 percent.
There were two new COVID-19 fatalities in Westchester, bringing the total to 1,452, according to the state Department of Health.

Statewide, 8,263,033 New Yorkers have been tested for COVID-19, with 434,756 testing positive. There have been 25,328 virus-related deaths since the pandemic began in early March.
